One thing first: Allen doomsayers, the mood "on the ground" by no means bad or bitter - as shown in some media, quite dramatically. Sure, some uncertainty exists, but not in the majority. I believe that even a .., to call it optimism, would be presumptuous maybe a little, but it is quite a positive mood perceived. Especially in relation to the People's Party.
My first conversations with visitors were encouraging and motivating. The reason for it: The People's Party will continue to help shape the future as the dominant force in Austria. Shape with Vorarlberg Members! The latter in particular is a concern of many. Vorarlberg needs strong voices in Vienna. Quasi counterbalance the social democratic-dominated capital. A counterweight, which sees the "peculiarities" of Vorarlberg and highlights. Not
few consider that of the ÖVP, which are the "nerds" without glitz and show. With restrictions, maybe it does. Glitz and glamor as a success in politics without categories should this be of secondary importance. Or how ÖVP-General Hannes Missethon always says: "The People's Party you can not unlearn the work anyway." Probably the reason for the many ÖVP-Bürgermeister/innen. People want someone who works for them. And so it should happen at the federal level, frills-free use of Vorarlberg's interests ..
